EVENT RULES

                                    Kings of War

​

 

General Rules and Player Conduct:

 

 

·  Download the player packet here.

 

·  The West Coast GT is an event that seeks to promote good sportsmanship, responsible gaming, dedicated hobbyists, and an overall good time.

 

·  Players are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the above principles.

​

·  Players are responsible for supplying everything they need for a game of Kings of War. This includes dice, a tape measure, rulebooks, etc.

​

·  Unsportsmanlike conduct will NOT be tolerated.

​

·  The event organizers reserve the right to tell players who cannot follow the rules to leave. Trust me; you don’t want to be that guy!

​

·  Games will be played 1 on 1.  We have changed the rules, so this tournament will not be team play.

Army Restrictions and Rules:

​

·  Army lists will be 2,250 points.

​

·  All the latest FAQs and errata will be used     

      ​

·  Lists are due by Sunday, August 29th, 2016

​

·  All Living Legends are allowed, including those in the 'Destiny of Kings' expansion

 

·  Allies are NOT allowed.​​

​

·  Armies do NOT need to be fully painted, although it is highly encouraged. All models MUST be fully assembled.

​

·  Models from any manufacturer may be used, but must be reasonably be identifiable as the unit it represents.​​

​

·  Buildings and other impassible terrain will be height 4.  Woods count as height 4 difficult terrain.  Ruins count as height 2 difficult terrain.  Hills are height 2.  Marshes, rivers, and ponds count as height 0 difficult terrain, and only provide cover for units that are in them.​

​

·  This will be an OPEN LIST event. We will provide you with tournament approved copies of your list. These copies are to be given to your opponent at the start of each game for review.

Scoring:

 

  • Judge based comp will determine the first 2 round match-ups and will be your comp score for the event. 
​
  • 30 points will be avaliable for paint, with bonus points going to favorite army votes.
 
  • There is a maximum score of  30 points for sportsmanship, with bonus points to be awarded for each favorite opponent and army vote.
